What declining costs you
Nothing. Every page, grade and link works exactly the same with analytics declined — we just count one fewer reader. The choice cookie itself is strictly functional and exempt from consent requirements, since its only job is remembering your answer.
Cookies we don't have
No advertising networks, no social media pixels, no cross-site trackers, no fingerprinting. A static site doesn't need them, and we wouldn't want them anyway.
Managing cookies yourself
Every modern browser lets you inspect, block and delete cookies per site — look under Privacy in your browser's settings. Delete our choice cookie and the banner will simply ask again on your next visit. For cookies set by operators, use the controls on their sites; their policies, not this one, apply there.
